Tasting Notes
This is a trending style which utilises a very light malt base of pilsner (for us its lager but think we can say pilsener malt?) and flaked rice, which create a light crisp base for the hops to sit on. Using a lager yeast to ferment the beer at to get an clean fermentation profile. Hops are the classic C hops with Citrus and pine leading the aroma profile. Using Centennial, Cascade and Columbus for the base profile and touch of Simcoe to lift the citrus notes. Rueben brew an award winning Cold IPA and using their knowledge on Cold IPAs we have teamed up to make this crisp and extremely drinkable Cold IPA.
